Mums are a fall classic that come in decadent and delicious fall colors. They bloom for long periods in hues of rust, white, fall purples and magenta.

The Gazania is one of the most beautiful fall flowers. It comes in shades of yellow, rusts and reds. It can be a cornerstone of an arrangement. The classic yellow sunflower is also a fun and attention grabbing main flower or shake it up with the rust colored variation. The orange Lily can round out any arrangement with a pumpkin color that blends nicely with other autumn flowers. Gerbera daisies are a friendly and welcomed flower for any type of arrangement.

Hypericum Berries make amazing filler flowers with vibrant touches and hints of color and green. The Aster is small in size, but big on color. This makes them perfect as a filler. Queen Anne’s Lace is also a timeless addition to any arrangement with delicate white flowers that are very small.

There is not a ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to Thanksgiving centerpieces. The main points to take into consideration are the number of guests and the size of the table. A centerpiece should not be too tall to ensure guests can see one another, as well as the dishes. You do not want the centerpiece to outdo the food. The shape should complement the table, for example a round centerpiece on a circular table while a rectangular table requires something long.

Chrysanthemums also make beautiful Christmas bouquets. Using red chrysanthemums mixed with white will create a lovely look. You could place some holly berries in your bouquet also. The more you have in your bouquet the more lush and full it will look.

The color, blue is very calming. A vase of hydrangea is sure to lower the blood pressure of someone having a stressful day. A bouquet of blue delphiniums with white flowers such as daisies would also be ideal.

Pink is graceful and full of happiness. Show up with a handful of light pink roses to present to the favorite ballerina in your life. Combine flowers of several different shades of pink to make it even more breathtaking.

Orange is the color of friendship and brings out the warmth in someone special. A arrangement of orange calla lilies will endear you to the one who is glad they have you for a friend.

Purple signifies dignity and royalty. Give purple orchids to someone special you admire.
